Angela & Timothy

July 13, 2024

Angela and Timothy dreamt of a wedding bursting with colour, fun and personality, that incorporated elements of native florals.

The couple entrusted us to create florals that would compliment their fun, eclectic styling. Their vision, along with unique details like Angela's embroidered veil and Chapel Farm Estate's beautiful stained glass windows - inspired a bold jewel-toned colour palette featuring reflexed roses, delphinium, larkspur and luxurious phalaenopsis orchids paired with vibrant pincushions, Princess protea, Geraldton wax and flourishes of midnight peppermint foliage.

The bride held a lush mixed bridal bouquet adorned with trailing ribbons in complimenting colours. Featuring luxurious phalaenopsis orchids and reflexed roses, seasonal favourites like larkspur and lilac and one of her favourite flowers - the protea. While bridesmaids held single variety or "en masse" bouquets of reflexed roses, larkspur and phalaenopsis orchids - beautifully highlighting elements from the bridal bouquet. The groom and groomsmen each wore buttonholes featuring cymbidium orchid, Geraldton wax and a touch of textural foliage. Adding a truly special touch, the couple's beloved Scottish terriers also joined them down the aisle wearing matching floral collars.

Abundant floral pillars adorned the ceremony, framing the couple with a vibrant burst of colour. We then repurposed these for the reception, highlighting both the cake table and the lectern. Bright single stem bud vases graced the reception tables, complimenting the beautiful collection of coloured vintage wine glasses that the bride lovingly sourced as gifts for their guests. Underneath the stained glass windows, dreamy velvet ribbons suspended delicate florals swaying above the sweetheart table, creating an unforgettably romantic atmosphere.
